Default Samsung Gleam

My wife and I both got new Samsung Gleam Phones approx. 2 months ago.
We like the phones but my wife is having a problem with hers. When she
calls someone or someone calls her, she can hear them but they can not
hear her. My phone does not have this problem. Verizon replaced her
first phone and she is having the same problem with the new phone. Is
this an issue with this phone or did she just get two bad phones?

Odds of that happening are like 10000 to 1.

Dude, got to ask this, did you try your wifes phone to see if you have the
same problem with it as her, could be something as simple as she has muted
the phone so no one can hear her, just a thought.

Yes, I have tried her phone. In fact I handled Verizon TS when they
tried callin her phone. I could hear him but he could not hear me.
Also in most cases if she call right back everything is normal.Don

I am sorry but on the original post I stated it wrong. The person she
calls can hear her but she can't hear them is the correct situation.
She is now on her third phone and still having the problem.

I have that experience on a Motorola V65i. It just started
recently and I expect it has something to do with
overcrowded towers.

Every once in a while I make a call, the icons say it is
connected and ringing - but I can't hear a thing! I call
back and all is fine.

Is she standing in the same place you are standing? Is she
calling the same phone number(s) you are calling?

Louise

My wife is on her second one. Her's just ransomly flashes when she
opens it. It flashes high, low vibrate, no sound, repeatedly. TS
says they can send her another NEW Gleam or they can send her 1 of 3
other phones. Unfortunately she does not like the other models.
