Just ordered my V750

I ordered a W355 and sent it back a couple of months ago. No
pizazz.

Had been looking at the 755, but it felt kinda cheesy---I've always hated
the chrome-plated plastic look.

I THINK the wait was worth it---ordered a V750 today. Cheap, ruggedized (I
know, not water-resistant), and the PTT plan is $5.00 per month for
unlimited PTT usage.

I am well aware of the grip Nextel has on the PTT market, but if VZW plays
their cards right, which means letting subscribers upgrade to a PTT phone
early, this could cause Nextel some real headaches, I think.

Where I work, everybody carries two phones; the company Nextel because they
have to, and a personal Verizon phone to fill in the coverage holes when you
NEED to get through.

It's gonna be kind of fun to be the first on the block with VZW PTT (nobody
to talk to for a month or two), then watch as the plan starts to take off.
If all works out as planned, I predict this will be a HUGE hit for VZW.

Then again, I could be wrong. Wouldn't be the first time today LOL......
