Which cell phone to use with laptop for internet?

I have been using a 5 year old motorola phone to get my laptop online.
I bought the cable and driver from ebay a few years ago. Now my phone
is toast and I need a new phone. Which current phones allow one to
connect to the internet and has the cable/driver easily available?

I believe that the Motorola RAZR V3m will do this!

I am browsing the available phones on verizon webpage and only one
says it has 'National Access' feature, i.e:

Verizon Wireless CDM 8905

It seems this phone is an Audiovox ? I can find the USB data cable but
no luck in finding the driver. Should I try another free phone even
though it doesnt have 'national access' feature?

EVDO Rev.A, fastest 3G in the states!

Does Rev.A let you do voice and data simultaneously, or is it still
either/or at Verizon?

No, but it does pause the data connection if you get a phone call, and when
you finish your call, it resumes the data connection.

Most Nokia's can do this or most phones as long as it has a GPRS
feature.
