It has been too long. Does Verizon have any plans to release the Treo
800w or Treo Pro anytime before my Treo 700w falls apart?

Palm's current offerings are usually as stodgy and dated by tech reviewers.
Palm hasn't kept pace with the other companies in new product
development/release-- in part because they are in serious financial
trouble-- or maybe it's the other way around!

My guess: they'll be acquired-- or otherwise out of business-- by the
Fourth of July....
