Default Motorola V325i & Multimedia

Hello Everyone.

Have this V325i and MPT updated online to 4.51C.
Windows XP SP2.

I realize this issue could be a system specific problem
and not repeatable on other systems!

I start MPT (the cell phone looking form opens) & I
change modem to V323m phone gets detected no problem.

Click on "Multimedia" link & I get to a page with many
mini applications like "transfer photo" or "transfer files" etc.

I can then transfer files or photos from PC to cell phone & back.

After doing so, I try to exit that's when the problem starts.
A small window with couple of blue scrolling bars appears with
this message: "Processing, please wait".

The problem is I keep waiting & waiting. After about 10 minutes
I give up & want to terminate, but I get "this app is not responding..."

I actually have to turn the PC off & on. "Ctrl + Alt Delete" does not
work.

As long as I know I have the latest USB drivers, and using standard
USB cable that came with my video camera.
Cell phones blocked features have been re-enabled.

Thanks in advance for any help.
Mike

Memory is only used 13% (4.6 mb out of 33.6 mb)
Also reports 3.2 mb RAM, whether connected to PC or not.

What I'm wondering is if you are trying to store something too big for
it. I'm sure some of the memory is reserved for phone storage functions.

The 33.6MB includes the program area where the VZW firmware resides in
EPROM. I bet the 3.2MB is the USER available memory area....about one 3
min MP3 file.

These phones have no storage space....on purpose, of course, so you can
BUY online music you can't store, BUY online videos you can't keep...etc.

I bought the E815 for its microSD storage. It only supports 1GB cards or
smaller, but that's more serious storage than the RAM inside the phone,
which is nearly useless for other than ringtone MP3s. I just wish they'd
let me USE my card for as long a video as I wanted...instead of the
stupid 3 minute Moto limit. I also hate the non-standard queer
video/audio format it records. More proprietary queer crap. Doesn't
matter as VLC plays it all..(c;

No, not really anything too large.
I have a few ringtones & about 5 photos
no more than 30 kb each.

It may be that I am using standard USB
cable and not the one from Motorola.

Well, I guess re-starting the PC every time I xfer
some photos or ringtones isn't that bad.
