Default New Phone

I'm considering changing my phone. The following seem to be the choices.
They seem to be equal.

Samsung SCH u540
LG8350
Motorola RAZR V3M

Anybody have experience with the above phones and have a comment to share?

I have the Razr, and have been very happy with it for almost a year. You may
see an occasional complaint about battery life posted--if all you do is
phone calls, there's a keypad modification you can do to the phone which
will give you a dramatic increase in battery life. You don't need any cables
or software. I've done it to many friends and co-workers' phones. Google
"disable Razr EVDO" for easy-to-follow instructions.

Wife has the LG VX-8300, the predecessor to the 8350. Her phone has been
excellent. From the reading I've done, the 8350 is very good also. LG
apparently builds their phones for Verizon from scratch, where Moto phones
have to be modified to meet VZW specs. This probably explains why I've
rarely, if ever, seen LG software issues posted.

Note: I've never been impressed with the RF performance of LG's cheaper
(5000 series and down) phones, but from 6000 and up they appear to be
excellent performers.

Can't speak to the Sammies. I'm sure someone here will have a comment,
though.

Dean

Stay away from the 8350. It's not nearly as good as the 8300 which it is
supposed to replace. Find yourself an 8300, one of the best phones VZ has
every offered.

Could you elaborate about what makes the 8350 inferior to the 8300.
