It's there. Poke around. You'll see the native Verizon network in red,
and the roaming areas in beige, and the no signal areas in white.
If you're blocking Flash or something, I don't know if that'll cause a
problem.

Pretty much. Your phone will tell you when it thinks it's roaming.
Reports are that it may falsely report roaming, but I've never heard it
falsely report that you're in a native Verizon area when you're not.
That's fine with me.
50 cents/month. 1400 minutes for $80. The way their funny money works,
it can be a great deal, even for the free nights/weekends at 99
cents/day. Think about it: if you talk for, say, 15 minutes on average
after 9pm and each Saturday and Sunday, you're probably better off with
the nights/weekends.
And since the 99 cents/day comes out of your funny money account, it's
actually much cheaper than that--it's actually 47 cents/day if you fill
up with $80 cards (which actually put $168 in your account).
Even if you don't play those games, for straight prepaid it's a great
deal on a great network. Fill up with a single $80 card, get $168 on
your account, and deduct at 12 cents/minute; real price is 5.5
cents/minute or so. The minutes expire after 4 months UNLESS you add
money to your account--any amount. So add $10 to your account every 119
days and stretch that initial $80 out as far as you need.
